The scenic quality of the landscape is analyzed using U.S. Forest Service methods. The analysis provides information on viewed areas, constituent viewer groups and their sensitivities and expected exposure, and an analysis of the landscape’s existing character and quality.
Elements
- Scenic class is a measure of the scenic attractiveness of an area, taking into consideration the public value of the scenery and the distance from the viewer.
